Overview
Based in Mercer County, EL KA BONG is a high energy cover band with a passion for getting people on the dance floor. Their diverse repertoire spans across various genres, creating an all-out good time for the audience. Since their formation in 1995, they have been entertaining crowds with their electrifying performances.
Backstory
Born out of the thriving Trenton music scene of the 1980s — when bands like Bon Jovi rolled through iconic clubs such as The River and Brothers Saloon — EL KA BONG quickly carved out their own place in local rock history.
Signed first to Starfield Entertainment and later to STARS, the band went on to play for thousands across the tri-state area, lighting up stages from Atlantic City and Wildwood to Philadelphia, even sharing the bill with The Romantics on Delaware Ave.
A regular fixture at local colleges and university festivals, EL KA BONG became part of the soundtrack of a generation’s college years — a band forever tied to late-night parties, crowded gyms, and unforgettable weekends.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
We have a full PA but are also comfortable working with your in-house sound. Drop us a line with any special requirements you may have. We're pretty handy and can make almost anything work.
